How do you mount a Nest wall plate?

- Snap the thermostat base and trim plate together, pull the wires through the hole.
- Hold the trim plate against the wall and use the bubble level in the thermostat base to make sure everything is level.
- Mount the plate on the wall with the screws included with your thermostat.
Does Nest come with wall plate?
The Nest E comes with a wall trim plate to cover the area of the old thermostat, but it doesn’t come with a steel plate as most homes do not have the thermostat built through an electrical box anymore.
